How to close an agreement

Learn how to close an agreement in the Fleetlane system

To close an agreement in the system after a customer returns a car, follow these steps:

1. Complete the Inspection In Section

  • The system will automatically take you to the INSPECTION IN section when you open the agreement.

  • Action: Fill out the KM and FUEL parts. Always take the exact KM reading from the vehicle's dashboard.

  • Validation: If the vehicle has a GPS transponder, the KM and FUEL readings should appear automatically. It is still best practice to validate that these numbers match the dashboard display.

  • Damages: This is also where you will add pictures if the vehicle has returned with new damages.

2. Apply Charges

  • Move down to the Charges section and apply any appropriate charges to the client.

3. Close the Agreement

  • Hit the Close button. The agreement is now officially closed.

*for the dealerships that requires a checkin sign step, you will do that before closing the agreement
