How to issue a refund

Learn how to process customer refunds step-by-step, including how to select refund amounts, reasons, and optional notes.

If you need to issue a refund, follow these simple steps to complete the process quickly and efficiently.

Step 1: Locate the Transaction

Open the agreement, scroll to the Charges section and click on the transaction to expand the details.

Step 2: Click the “Refund” Button

Once the transaction details are visible, click the Refund button to start the refund process.

Step 3: Choose the Refund Amount

Select the amount you’d like to refund:

  • Custom – Enter a specific amount.

  • 50% – Refund half the total amount.

  • 100% – Refund the full amount.

Step 4: Select a Refund Reason

Choose the reason that best describes why the refund is being issued.

Step 5: Add an Optional Note

You may include a note with additional context for the refund. This note will be recorded in the transaction history.

Step 6: Process the Refund

Review the details and click Process Refund to complete the transaction.

💡 Tip: Once a refund is processed, it may take a few business days to appear on the customer’s statement, depending on their bank.
